Why do I need a warranty for my office?
You have a business to run. Your time is best spent focusing on and growing your business, so things like finding contractors, gathering bids, determining the severity of a problem, etc… become time vampires that take away from your business. We take your maintenance issues into our hands and provide a one-call solution to keep your office systems up and running.
What kind of properties do you cover?
TAP offers coverage for commercial, industrial, office & office condo properties. Other property types are available on a case by case basis, contact us for details.
Doesn’t my landlord cover repairs?
Not likely. Most leases are NNN (Triple Net), meaning the tenant pays all of the taxes, insurance and maintenance, so as tenant, you’re on the hook for the repairs. Also, most of these lease agreements require the tenant to perform regularly scheduled maintenance tasks, typically quarterly and annually, depending on the system. Failure to do these could subject the tenant to pay for items that reach a premature end of life. TAP performs these scheduled and documented services as part your maintenance plan for the standard service call fee.
I thought my business insurance covers this stuff?
Probably not. Commercial property insurance is there to handle things like fire, flood, theft, etc.…, not when your air conditioner stops working or your door won’t close & lock properly. TAP takes care of all these and more and in some cases can help lower your insurance costs.
Do I need to upgrade everything to get warranty coverage?
No. We will perform an initial coverage inspection and grade each covered system and its components on a PASS/FAIL basis. PASS items begin coverage immediately, FAIL systems will need to be brought up to PASS status, at which time coverage for those items will begin.
Is there anything you don’t cover?
Yes. We do not cover pre-existing conditions, known or unknown, misuse, abuse, or failure to clean and/or maintain covered systems.
What if the broken item isn’t available?
If a covered item is not available, TAP will replace it with a similar or like kind item.
Do you fix other things that aren’t part of my warranty?
Yes, we are happy to help our customers with whatever their needs. All you have to do is sign our estimate and agree to the extra charges, we’ll take care of the rest. Please review your for additional details.
Do I have to pay a deductible?
With the exception of the Platinum plan, there is a $99 service call fee per occurrence.
